My best creative work :
Yep a HSC major as my best ... Though this artwork may not be the most visually exciting or correct, the concept behind it is one that lies truly close to my heart. It is about my 6 year old brother who is on the spectrum and how he interacts physically and verbally with my parents (communication through an app as he remains non-verbal). I hoped to create sense of movement through the work to show the never-still life we live with him and the unpredictable nature of both his everyday being and moods, and his condition.
A great piece of architecture :
A new Frank Gehry design that is still on its way to be opened later this year. Its distinct jagged form of glass boxes extruding from twisting aluminium panels serves to reflect the rugged mountain ranges of the south French region. His design of the resource centre is to be a part of the experimental, contemporary cultural centre which supports the activities of innovative and independent artists and institutions. Its pretty beautiful the way the light reflects off the building. Buildings also definitely need way more curves.
Original of something beautiful :
On a recent solo trip to Europe, I visited this lake by the medieval village of Annecy, France. It is known as "Europe's cleanest lake" due to its strict environmental regulations and is fed by many small rivers from the surrounding mountains. Though this image was taken in the middle of winter, the light hitting the pristine waters enclosed within snow-capped mountains was easily the most picturesque scene I had witnessed on this journey. Being low point tourist season, its serenity made it unmatchable - whether it be for my cycle around the lake or simply for this man's quiet reading.
